Joanna always dreamed of flying for as long as she remembers, and when she saw a paraglider at age 12, she knew immediately that paragliding would be the way to make her dream come true.
In the year 2000, she learned how to fly in El Jarillo, Venezuela. Flying rapidly became her new lifestyle.
Curious about what laid beyond her home site, she started flying cross country in 2002, the same year she started competing in Venezuela.
In 2005, she started to participate in international competitions and discovered a new world and the great family of pilots.
Since then, here career has become competing and flying cross country that have allowed to see the most beautiful places of the planet from an unique point of view: the sky.
Free flying is not her only passion and she also does skydiving and flies ultralights.
Besides being a paragliding pilot, Joanna is a translator and is in charge of the magazine Cross Country en Español.
Joanna currently lives in Annecy, France.
